Default Do gas line diameters make a diff to pressure?

Think I got it all in the title.
If I set the reg to 22psi and I have 3/8 braided line going to all my kegs; I don't have to factor the distance of the run into the pressure equation do I? If the gas is set at 22psi and the run is 10 feet or 100 feet it's still 22psi at the end correct?
Just want to be absolutely sure.
Also what's the basic breakdown of optimal pressures for different types of beers on mixed gas?
IE lagers 22-24psi...
ales 20-22psi...
etc...
Thanks
Kyle

Distance or diameter of air line will not affect the pressure the length of you beer line will determine what pressure you need to hold your beer together is it in a restaurant or a home keg box or kegerator? Is yor beer system balanced was restriction put into it when it was installed?
