Old Perlick Gas Blender
I acquired and am playing around with an old Perlick Gas Blender. There are no instructions or model # etc. It has 2 dials and 2 sight glass guages that read from 0-50. Is this pressure psi or is this mix percentage. If it is pressure, would a 30 on the CO2 side and a 20 on the N side be a 60 CO2/40 N mix? Any Help ?

Set both regulators on the tanks at 40 lbs. then open the bleeder on the blender set nit. at45 and co2 at 15 this is about as close to a 60/40 blend that you can get. tjese blenders work but are not the best.

the blender you are describing is a Co2 air blender for a comppressor system they dont transfer well to a co2 nitrogen blend depending on the beer you are pouring a new micromatic blender might be more efficent

This is not a blender but a flow meter. Accuracy is questionable and if the nitrogen runs out, the flow meter continues to operate with staight CO2. The MM gas blender is much more accurate and shuts down if one of the gasses depletes.
