    Default slow flow, new coupler

Three years ago I bought a new Micromatic D coupler, which I've used about once per year. Each time, I get mostly foam unless I drop the pressure so low that drawing 12 oz takes a half minute or more, and the beer still is very foamy. I don't have this problem with my other couplers. What can I do?

Disconnect the beer line after untapping the keg and be sure all the parts are in there. If you find the coupler you have on this site you can view a diagram showing where everything goes. It sounds like the check ball maybe missing, or at least the clip that holds it in. After removing the beer line look through the coupler and you should see a small white ball in there with a clip towards the top of the coupler to hold it in. Good luck.
