    Is blending gas recommended in all systems? Is there a certain length run or a restriction value where it becomes more crucial?

    Blended gas at the correct ratio is ideal when carbon dioxide is inadequate. Hopefully, this response will instill additional requests from you if you are truly interested in secondary packaging of keg beer.....

    Can a CO2 tank be use for a blend mixture? Do I need a special tank or regulator for this blended mixture? Also does this affect the temperature I have to maintain the beer at with this blended gas?

    The gas blender requires a source of CO2 and Nitrogen. This device will provide a 25% CO2 / 75% Nitrogen for the stout (nitrogenated)products and a 60% CO2 / 40% Nitrogen for the higher carbonated ales and lagers. High pressure regulators are required for your cylinders.

    The drawback of utilizing a blend at high pressure is the capability of dispensing your product up to 45 degrees F. If your consumers are use to a colder product, you may not sell much beer, even if it is coming out of the faucet clear.

    The use of 100% CO2 is applicable only when you can guarantee temperature 24/7/365 from the keg to the faucet and if the system is shorter than 50 feet.
