Default Corney coupler question

This should be simple but I can't find the answer.

I have a kegerator system that I want to hook a corney keg up to with the ball-lock gas-in coupler with the 1/4" barb. But my system came with a 5/16 inch gas line. Can I use these together or do I need to get a thinner gas line or adapter? The connection does not seem very tight and I figure is likely to leak.

Help please.

Lightbulb Your Answer

could be a short length of 1/4 line connected between your Corney gas coupler and one of these: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...id-SSS-CE.html . Then simply connect your 5/16 gas line and your good to go!

sudsy hit the nail on the head. That is pretty much what I did to connect my corny. The 3/16 beer line will go on the 1/4 barb pretty easily so you don't need to do it on the beer side.

Thank you both, that's exactly what I'll do.
