Rust?

I have a wee bit of rust on the inside of my kegerator. It's not bad and given the age of the unit (Bev-Air BM23) I'm not surprised but was thinking I should arrest it before it gets too bad. Any suggestion for the best way to deal with this? Should I just take some steel wool to it? I can't see how I can get rid of the stuff completely.
