Remote draw set up questions
I would like to know a solution to a remote dispensing problem. My question is I have a refrigerator 3 to 4 feet away from the actual bar tower. The beer line passes from the frig to a chiller box next to the tower. I'm aware that the beer line must be kept cool. However I would insulate the beer line to keep the line cool and then pass it through a chiller plate to cool it before dispensing the pour. This system would serve only for temporory, special occasion and Immediate party's and the like, then lines would be blown clean of all remaining beer. The daily dispensing service would be provided by a air cooled tower on the refrigerator top. I can not mount the refrig under the Bar since the existing cabinets preclude a straight draw and I would like to serve like a bar facing the bar rather then turning away from the guest to pour This said I have a couple of questions could a glycol system be created for long time set up at reasonable expense to chill the lines ......Perhaps a cold plate with a circulator of some sort for the glycol within the refig ? If not could a manifold be installed in the beer line to close the un chilled beer line divert the beer line to a refrigerator mounted air cooled tower ? and could a manifold within the shut off line be mounted with a gas system which could be used to blow the beer from the line so it could be emptyed and cleaned for storage for the next occasion? thank for any suggestions
