Default New Install

I am trying to help a client install 2 kegs on in her new bar that I am building. Her situation is there is a 2x6 wall that will be 6 1/4 inches thick and she wants to put the kegs behind the wall with the taps coming through the wall at about 44 inches of the floor. What is the most economical solution to do this and what would she need in terms of equipment...The Kegs are going to be pony size and one domestic and one import....should she convert a normal fridge...or a freezer...since they will be only about 12 to 24 inches from the keg does she need special lines....

The keg sizes will determine the cooling unit required. Have you considered using the slim 30 keg or the six-tel? If so, you could convert a normal refrigerator. You will require a blower and flex tube and a conversion kit.

Use a short piece of six inch PVC to bridge between the refrigerator and the back of the wall mount. Try to circle the two shanks. Do not cut through a wall that houses the thermostat wire for your refrigerator (done that, paid cash) Insulate the outside of this to prevent temperature loss. Now install the blower in an area out of the way but to collect coldest air and wire for power. Attach flex tube and insert inside the six inch PVC pointed towards the back of the shanks to maintain temperature between the keg and the faucet.

Maintain 38F [u]beer</u>temperature and set pressure at 14 PSIG.
