FOB Installation
Are FOB's, similar to the ones offered by Micromatic, intended to be mounted right in the cooler wall or should they be mounted using some sort of a panel similar to the ones used for regulators? Also is there a standard when it comes to the interior structure of cooler walls? (think studs). I ask because I am not sure where I would drill holes should I install these FOB's that one of my accounts has already purchased. Thanks for the input.

Depending on how the cooler is manufactured. The older galvinized coolers you can mount them right on the cooler wall, new aluminum coolers you should have some sort of plate to install them to because they will get pulled of the wall by various people.

If u mount the fobs put slack in the beer line and tape or zip tie tthe air and beer line that way bartenders or barbacks won't tug on the fob and pull it off the wall mounting with a plate is ideal but this is an equitable remedy.

If you plan on attaching FOB directly to cooler wall, try mounting above regulator panel. Jumper goes to wall bracket on regulator panel, then 3/8" line from wall bracket to FOB. This way, tension is on wall bracket, not FOB.
