1/3 double pump or 1/2 single
Im putting together a proposal for a 10 product long draw system. The run from walk in to tower is 65 feet.My question is,is it more efficient to use a 1/3hp double pump power-pack or would it be better to run a 1/2hp single pump and just loop the glycol lines back twice?I would love to run a 1/2 double pump but the customer does not want to pay the extra cost.

Which brand power pack are you using? Our MMPP4301 is capable of effeciently maintaining this run with the double loop. No need for a double pump. Use a "U" bend between loops at the walk-in cooler.
If this is for resale, check out our wholesale site for applicable pricing.

I will agree with Scott, the single pump will do but my experences is that after cleaning system temp will return to normal quicker an better temp controll with two pumps.
