Default Tower Size

I am wondering what size tower i need, what do i mesure for the tower, the center of the hole, from screw to screw. The kegerator is a little old, mid-eighties, but still good. the brand is "True" if that helps. i just can't tell if it needs a 2 1/2 inch tower or the 3 inch tower. Thanks for your help

True has utilized a three inch tower for quite some time. Most flanges are universal but don't rule out having to drill new holes.
