    Question Odd size walk-in coolers

    I need to install a walk-in cooler for a 30 tap system, but the basement where the beer should be stored has a ceiling height of 81" (6ft-9inches),width 68"(5ft--8inches), length 120"(10ft).
    We are supplying two 12 faucet towers, plus one remote with 6 faucets.
    Trying to source a supplier for such a walk in cooler.

    Try these guys... U.S. Cooler.
    They will make up a cooler to almost any configuration & should be able to steer you to a local distributor. My company uses them quite often. Later, THE ICEMAN

    Question Side mount cooling system

    We will install this cooler, down in a basement, low ceiling height, looking at a Side-Mount refrigeration unit. There is ample ventilation to displace the heat so a "remote" condensing unit is not needed.
    What space requirement do I need to plan for for these side mount units. Any idea on the "ball-park" cost for this unit
    Also, with a mixture of 5gallon and 15 gallon kegs, is a 6X10 cooler OK for this install. We do not have much room to work with.

    Any refrigeration contractor worth their salt can install the condensing unit wherever you need, on the wall, on the floor or in another room.

    If you go to the link I provided above & then click on 'Customer Service' you can get an online quote form that should be able to give you an idea of costs involved.

    I would think 6x10 is big enough depending how many flavors you want.

    How many actual flavors will you dispense and from how many keg stations in the walk in cooler? If you will feed multiple faucets from one keg station, always "Y" in the cooler and versus at the point of dispense.

    Keg shelves will assist you in optimizing your space. Hopefully you will be utilizing a glycol design to maintain temperature.
