Default blower hard wire

hi, i have just purchased the 15 cfm blower from micromatic. i was wondering, i have some experience with dc electronics, but i assume this blower is an ac blower. can i just solder the leads from the blower to either of the wires on my ac power cord. or not? thanks for any help.

It should not matter either way.
