Default Faucet O Ring

When cleaning an account I noticed a small rubber o-ring in my brush that showed up while cleaning a faucet. When I looked inside the faucet I saw what appeared to be a groove inside, right before where the beer would go down into the glass. It looked as though this gasket would go inside there. My questions are, does it? and if so how do you get that bugger in there? (I am not sure of the brand of faucet though it does not appear to be Micromatic or Perlick.)

Hi Ed,
I've never seen a faucet like that. What material is it (SS?). Any chance you can get a photo of it? I'd be interested to see it.
Cheers.

It'll be a few weeks but I will get one for you next time I am in there. The faucet itself appears to be made out of chrome plated brass.
