Lightbulb Traditional Handpull Pump and D system Keg

Hi,
A friend of mine is running beer pub in Japan. He usually serves Real Ale from Corney Keg with traditional handpull pump. He uses Ball Lock Fitting to connect beer line to the Corney Keg. He also wants to serve beer in D system Keg with the hand pump, because we can experience good flavor and taste with hand pump. To achieve this,
  • Use "D" System Keg Coupler
  • Connect the coupler and hand pump with 3/16" I.D. Beer Hose Assembly
  • Open Pressure Relief Valve of the coupler while serving
  • Close the gas line of the coupler with Shutoff Valve.
How do you think my idea? And I still need a good idea to connect Ball Lock Fitting to D system Keg couplier easily.

Thanks in advance

Are all of his beers served this way of just one? If it is only one he may want to transfer the beer throm the D system keg to the corny and serve from that. This way he can leave the system set up as it is. If he sells through the keg within 4-5 days then your idea should produce decent results but I am pretty sure CAMRA would not endorse it, http://www.micromatic.com/forum/us-e...cons/icon7.gif
Smile. You can also find gallon corny cans as well. Is he just using a gas in fitting with no line on it now?
