i think as long as both sets of lines are built with the same restriction you should be ok. ofcourse i usually try and deter customers from splitting lines like that, but they are "always right" sometimes. i like to use FOBs too before the Y because it can be a hassle recharging the lines when the keg blows. also i run the more popular beers in a series. most accounts find this very nice on the weekends.

Cool

Adding 45 ft. of line to the first tower is definitley not the answer! You may be getting in over your head if you don't understand the restriction in a beer system. Is the existing system glycol or air shaft? The second tower is definatley going to have to be glycol. Do you know how much resistance is built in to the existing system? You will need to run a blender on the second tower, so if you adjust the resistance on the first tower to match the 22lbs you'll need to run the second tower at, it will work without any problem. You wouldn't do this by lengthening the line, you adjust the choker at the tower. The beer shouldn't be "T"'d but you can put it on "Y"s in the cooler, on the keg or at the wall bracket.

Additional thought, make sure if it is a glycol system, the power pack is large enough. With the 12 product trunkline you have 4 glycol lines. This makes the distance calculation go to 1 1/2 times the actual length for cooling purposes. I wouldn't feel cormfortable with the 75 ft power pack in this situation, 125 ft would be fine. Also I would have a second pump, one for each trunkline, for two reasons. The customer would be still able to use one tower if one of the pumps goes down. The other being, if you get caught without a backup pump, you could jump the trunklines and have the both towers back up and running till you could get a replacement.

Default thanks guys

thanks guys yes the system is glycol and im putting second glycol system for upstairs bar and fd-1 fobs on all lines and a dble mc dantim blender
i was not sure about the15 foot lift to the second floor if that was going to be
an issue this is the way the customer wants it i want him to put in separate gas lines and seperate kegs but we all know that bar owners expect miracles
i just was not sure of the resistance so i figured extending lines in first bar would help
