Sam Adams winter lager
has anyone had the winter lager yet from SA? this stuff is fantastic on draught and pretty dam good in bottles as well.

One of my all time favorite seasonal brews! Recently moved to the west coast(ish) and am having a damned time finding any of my old East Coast favs, particularly the seasonals (lots of boston lager/light).

Im not much on the boston lager from SA. that was my first keg when I got my unit last year. that and the cranberry lambic are pretty much the only two that I dont care for from SA. other than that I love their brews

good to hear Ash, that is some dam good stuff. just got back from ocean city Md. today and most of the good bars that carry the tasty brews are closed for the season, that totally sucked and the restaurants dont carry the good stuff either. glad to be back home making love to my kegerator lol

I was told that SA Winter does not come in 1/4's. Is that correct????

I really couldnt answer that. Ive had the boston lager and the summer ale from SA in 1/4's. then again it depends on where you live, I love michelob amber bock but I can only get it in 1/6 (sixtels) and 1/2's, no 1/4's but it is available everywhere else, go figure

1/4 barrels of SA seasonals is all we can get in TX. Boston Lager we can get in 1/2's, but that's it. Any one know how much a 1/4 of Utopius would cost if you could buy it?

Highly doubt Utopias is availbe in Kegs for many reasons. Utopias is best served at room temp and in 2 ounce servings (defeats purpose of a refrigeration system). it has no carbonation so serving it slow is a must (similar to a cognac,although i guess it could be accomplished by draft system). they only make 8,000 bottles @ $500 a pop. only 6,000 are distributed to sell. In keg form it would have to be a few grand EASY! No one would buy it.
