Default Don't try this at home
Bucks Co. Teen Injured By Exploding Keg - cbs3.com

Now I like 4th of July, fireworks, and burnin' stuff, but tossing a keg onto a fire has never crossed my mind. Once, we threw an unopened Bud Light (12oz) into a bonfire. It sounded like a shotgun when it blew, and blew half the fire apart. I have the burnholes in my camping chair to remind me.

Seems to me the Mythbusters did that one in one episode. I don't remember their verdict.
