Which cleaning system to buy?
To All,
Is the dual bottle pressurized system ($196.00) easy to use? Why is there two bottles?

No genius on cleaning here but I can't see spending 196 bucks (heck, my kegerator was only $500) on a cleaning system when the one that they gave me free with the kegerator works just fine. You just need something to get the cleaner in the line as far as I can see.

I agree Stein, the one supplied with my kegerator does the trick, if I run out of solution I'll just order it from MM

Check out this cleaning system. The dual bottle set up is more for commercial cleaning. The second bottle is for your rinse water.

Thanks for your response and recommendation. The reason for my question was because I had a professional beer line cleaner clean my system after my wife and I bought our house. The system had been off for a couple of months. After he cleaned it he took out his Micromatic catelog and suggested I get the two bottle system. My system lines run from my garage under the house up about 18 feet straight up into the kitchen where I have two taps. He suggested I purchase the two bottle pressurized cleaning system but at the time I did not ask him why I needed two bottles. I will probably only use one tap because the house is a vacation home that I only go to on weekends.
Do you think I should stay with a pressurized system because of the height I would be pumping the solution to? If so, should I just get one bottle, a tap wrench and the cleaning powder?

Lou,
Continue to use the two bottle system. This would be more efficient than the hand pump style. Always practise safety when cleaning with chemicals. The valves on these caps have a tendency to spray after the coupler is removed. Be certain to wear safety glasses / goggles and look away when uncoupling.
