    Default Forum Members Map

Hey all, I took the liberty of creating a forum members map so we can share information about ourselves and get a general idea of where everyone is from. Please visit the below link and add yourself using your forum name and zip code. Those are the only two items of information needed to "get on the map" you do have the option of adding more information about yourself that you may want to share with the group, click the house icon by my name on the map to see an example. Anyway, here is the link, let me know if you have any questions.

I think most of them in here are enjoying their draught brews or busy messing with the foam probs. and not even paying attention Chuck.

I was just looking on the map and noticed that everyone but me is in the Northeast... Are home taps a big thing in New England? Here in Georgia everyone I know thinks the idea is great but they don't do it themselves, I guess they think it's great to come visit me and my system!

    Topgun,

I see you must use visit this form a lot.

As I said, just got a new kegerator last weekend. Came home tonight to discover I had a leak on my CO2 gas lines. I had no CO2 when I got home. I had a 2nd bottle and hook up and found both of my CO2 fittings (hose clamp with screw to be lose) tighten up.

Did this hurt my keg? Last night I hade Co2.

    Thanks, Tom

    Tom,
Since you seem to have fixed the problem and it was only overnight your keg should be safe. Did you check your system for leaks with soapy water after you tightened your fittings? If not you should to be sure ou have all the leaks sealed. Hope this helps.

    Usmc,
I"ll tell you a little story why I have my new kegrator. The bricklaying instructor (USMC Retired "1974") got me started. I am a welding instructor and work with CO2 did not think when lines are cold they would compress and leak,DUMB. I checked with soap tonight, no leaks. Should I take my CO2 Lines to work and use a clamp fitting insteaded of a screw clamp. if I take the line to school is the keg, with no CO2 ok for 12 hours. Or wait untill I us up this keg?

    Thanks, Tom

    Tom,
As long as you untap your keg there should be no issues. Tell the Marine Semper Fi for me.
