Default HOW CAN I CLEAN AND MAINTAIN MY PUMP?

ok. so im a complete moron when it comes to this. but i have two party pumps, one with a rubber hose and nozzle, and one with a faucet.(no clue whats the difference, or what they are called) and i used them for a party couple of weeks ago. i rinsed them out but i want to give them a good cleaning before i put them away till the next party
is it expensive to have them cleaned.? can i do it myself?
