Default problems with co2 party dispenser -- tons of foam

I just purchased this unit for outdoor parties: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...-Tap-H-LC.html

No matter what pressure I set for the regulator, it seems that the beer comes out of the 4 foot party hose entirely too fast. It's almost like a fire hose dispensing foam! In a 16 ounce glass I can manage to get about 1/2 inch of beer and the rest is foam. I've tried it on two kegs and have the same problem on both. After getting incredibly frustrated I switched them over to my converted fridge kegerator and had excellent beer with just the right amount of head, so I know it's not the kegs...

Any suggestions on how to remedy the problem? Do I have a faulty system?

The line and faucet is designed for a relatively low pressure. First, be absolutely certain that that keg is iced down and as cold as possible. If not get some dry ice and set it on top of the keg!

Second, start your pressure around four to five PSIG. Then increase until you can no longer control the flow - back off a couple of PSIG.
