Outdoor tower setup for parties

Hi, I am looking to set up an outdoor setup for parties. I have an insulated tub cooler to set the keg into with ice to keep it cold and I just purchased a tower to mount to the countertop. I can use the CO2 and tap out of my keg fridge. Before the party I plan on pulling the keg out of my regular system and putting it on ice. I have insulation to put around the line leading to the tower and I will probably get some kind of insulation to put over the top of the system to help keep it colder.

Question, can you think of anything I am missing or see any problems with my setup? I was thinking about cooling the tower but this is going to be an event only setup so it shouldn't be this way for more than and afternoon/evening. Thanks for you help.

It looks like a fine setup to me, and the way it sounds you have your bases covered. I wouldn't be worried about any more insulation. After the first or second pour your beer line will be cold and everyone will enjoy.This is something I have been mulling over for awhile, let us know how it works.

With enough volume (lots of beer poured) you will be fine. I've been toying with packing the line with ice and filling the tower with ice for events like these. You'd need to rig something to encase the line like a short run of pvc or something but that should curb and line warming issues.

How far from the tub to the tower? You could use a piece of flexible tubing like one of those flexible gutter down spout extensions. Fill it with ice. Should hold enough ice to last awhile. You could use Lucky1's idea for the tower.
Very easy and effective way to insulate tower!
Then you can fill it with ice as edramshaw suggests. Should help it to last longer.
If you have a large enough hole in your counter, and the flex tubing connected to the bottom of your tower, you could fill the ice from the top of the tower.
