Default keg pump doesn't work

I recently bought a keg party pump european sankey style and when I try to use it all it does is build up pressure and nothing comes out-not even air from the spout. Before that I had tried using the american sankey style and it didn't work either. They both fit on this keg but neither has been able to return any beer. The type of beer that I bought is called Felsgold-it is some German brand of beer that I bought here in Italy. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Just to make sure the party pumps you have work try this test before connecting to keg: with the handle in the tap (down) position you should be able to pump and have air come out of the base. Or with the handle in the untappped(up)position, squeeze the faucet open and you should have air come out. This also assumes your party pumps are clean and the beer line to the faucet is unobstructed.

I'm sorry to say, but I do not know the valve/coupler for Felsgold. What does it compare to on the cross reference list: http://www.micromatic.com/category.php?cid=801

Maybe another Forum memeber is familiar with this brand.
