  • Freezer size for kegs

I want to run a keezer with two 20L kegs. The keezer is a tower setup, not a collar set up, so I'm limited in height for the step. What size(s) of freezer in cubic feet are most likely big enough for a couple of 20L kegs, plus a 5 or 10lb CO2 bottle?

Anyone have any good estimates? I'm trying to buy used, and it's almost impossible to get accurate measurements out of people for interior sizes.

I feel your pain. Even though it is 3 1/2 year later. Tonight I shopped 5 large appliance stores. I want a freezer, to be a Keezer, to fit a 1/4 and 1/6 barrels kegs. Commercial beer, Miller Lite and Mich Ultra. I made templates for 1/4 bbl, 1/4 bbl slim and 1/6 barrell to take shopping with me. Most 7.0 cubic ft freezers should have worked, any 2 0f the 3 combo. However they appear, no matter the brand, to be building them to take up less space from the wall outward. In other words more rectanglur than square. I ended up buying at 14 cubic foot freezer to fit a 1/4 barrel (or a 1/2 barrel) and a 1/6 barrel combo I desired. I would like to have had a 1/4 slim with a 1/6 but the distributors in my area did not have the 1/4 slim in my brand, I even went to the neighboring state, different distribution, and they didn't offer "slims". Really dissapointed right now but I'm sure the first pour will wash most of that away. In other words I had to way over buy my need in a freezer. To the tune of about $200. Oh well. I find myself be different than many on here as not being a home brewer and corny keg user. My experience for them should not be as awful.

Be mindful of what you need space wise if out shopping Craigs List or other private seller listings. Make a template or thoroughly meassure.
