  • Success!!!!!

First, I want to thank whoever wrote all the newbie posts and highly recommend that anyone who is contemplating a kegerator to read them. Mine was not an easy process due to issues with my Summit system, but thanks to the posts of others, I did not have any of the usual newbie problems (foam, etc..). Other newbies need to read them and do not think you can "half a$$" anything or guess about temps and other issues. I would really like to thank Killianboy since although I am sure he does not know it, he helped a great deal in assisting me figure out my equipment issues. We thought it was a thermostat, but even after they replaced it, same issue. Turns out, they had reversed the wiring on the thermostat at the factory. Anyway, my month long project is completed and I am getting great pours of Yuengling. Pic is attached.... Thanks again.Bar.jpg

    ocipoly,
Honestly I don't deserve any sort of shout out, I will tell you who does:
Mark and Scott for keeping this forum online and available to the public and not just dispense pros

Super members and super moderators like Psychodad, Iceman, djc and sketch (sorry if I missed anyone but all I could remember off the top of my head). Most have schooled me in the finer points of draft beer and refrigeration,

Most of all, members like you, who not only post and ask questions but respond with how they solved their problems. It is members like you who are the most help.
I, myself, was like you I found the answers in the forum and figured everything out by looking at how members solved their problems by reading their questions, then reading when they got it right, when they posted how the problem was solved.
All I am is a pointer to areas members can look at to solve their problem, when a newbie has a problem all I do is regurgitate the information I found here or already have in my head.
It is the members like you who have helped me the most, the ones that have said:
    Thanks, going longer line helped.
I put the washer in the wrong place.
Thanks for the info on balancing.
Finally got tower cooler working, got bigger hose.
Thanks I didn't know I needed to leave CO2 tank upright.
To every member who kept the forum updated with their problems. Thank You.
