As the title suggests, I inherited what I believe is a 30+ year old BM23. Wood panel exterior, 2.5" inch off-set tower, re-branded by Superior; it was a birthday gift to my grandfather. I am having a very difficult time sourcing parts for it. I am looking to replace the evaporator fan, and have purchased one for partstown, but the mounting holes and wiring are different on the new part. After noticing the new mounting holes, I went and purchased the mounting bracket as well, but the bracket is deeper than the original bracket. When installed on the evaporator cover, it comes in contact with the evaporator coil and prevents the cover from being installed. I am looking to replace parts as is, no cutting or modifying if at all possible, so the partstown parts are no go. Anyone have any other parts sources?

I not having any issues with the compressor or refrigerant, in fact, both were replaced about two years ago. The fridge keeps beer cold just fine. My reason for replacing the evaporator fan was that it was making a horrible noise while the kegerator was on, and would even grind it self to a halt on occasion. I checked to make sure that the fan was not rubbing against the housing or that anything else was interfering with it; its my belief that the bearings in the fan are shot, hence the need for a replacement.
