kegerator in a small space

I'm looking to put a kegerator into an existing opening under a bar I have. It does not have enough space for a 1/2 barrel setup. I've been looking for something shorter, but have not been able to find a 1/4 barrel kegerator or a fridge/freezer the right size that could be converted. Has anyone built a small kegerator, or could provide info on a setup that might work? Any help is appreciated.
