polishing taps

I have brass taps for my kegerator, they are starting to look very brown (and even some green corrosion). can i just use brass-o or another brass polishing product to clean them? do i need to worry about corrosion on the inside of the tap or is this just an aesthetic problem? thank in advance for any help.

Brass-o works fine. If you want to use something less chemical I've had great success with ketchup. Try it out on a little spot and see how it works, you'll be suprised. I use it for regular cleaning and then take the brass-o to the spots that won't come out and it looks great! Do not use the Brass-o near the internal workings, give those a good cleaning with a standard breweery approved cleanser and just polish the outside.
