Default Will it Freeze???

Here is my situation. I have an Avanti (URGH) that looks as though it will not hold two logs. It may, but it does not look it, and with my luck with this thing it probably won't. Anyways, I am having people over on NYE amd will run out of the log of Sam Winter at some point during the night. CT does not sell beer on Sunday, so I have to pick up a second log on Saturday. If my Avanti does not hold a second log, I was thinking of putting it outside. Temperatures are supposed to get to around 28 degrees Saturday night. Will it freeze if I leave it out there overnight??? I figure on getting a Magic Hat #9 or Sam Adams Winter if that makes much difference. Thanks for the input.

it is my understanding that draft beer freezes @ 28f, not the usual 32f. im thinking you might be ok as long as there isnt a temp. plunge during the nite. anyone else have ideas?, please jump in

just wrap a blanket around to be safe, most likely you will be ok without it though it would take several hours at that temp to freeze it

Beer in a keg is under pressure which lowers it's freezing point. At 28, it wont freeze as long as it is out of the wind, etc.
