CO2 regulator issue

I posted this in another thread, but didn't really get a response on it, so I thought I would post it stand-alone.

My regulator doesn't want to turn in either direction. When I first connected it, the screw was adjusting what seemed to be just fine. In the past week, however, the screw will not turn. My PSIG is stuck at 10 and it takes an amazing amount of torque to get it to even budge. I've taken the regulator completely off the tank, and even unscrewed the housing unit for the sping coil, and there doesn't seem to be anything that could be causing it.

Is it just a bad regulator

did you try to unscrew the locking nut on the set screw yet

Yes...I had it out all the way to the head of the screw so that it was causing resistance...

I just put in an order to MM for a coupler, regulator and a different hose (replacing all Avanti parts, I"m not even gonna bother with their replacement parts).

i haven't seen or heard one good thing about the avanti boxes good luck on you re-building
