Question Corny keg fittings

I have a corny keg with pin-lock fittings in my kegorator, and I'm planning on purchasing 2 more kegs, but they have ball-lock fittings on them. My question is.....will I be able to do away with the ball-lock fittings on the kegs and replace them with pin-lock fittings?

It might be cheaper to replace the pin lock fittings with the ball lock and convert the system to ball lock. Either way you can change those connections on the keg and it is fairly easy to do. Remeber to vent the pressure before working on any keg.

Default I'm a noob, but...

I was under the impression that the manufacturers of the different kegs deliberately chose different size threads to prevent people from dispensing Pepsi from a Coke machine, and vice versa. In other words, it's impossible to make a pin-lock a ball-lock, or, again, vice versa.

They do, but with a wrench and the right fittings you can swap them out.
