Want to convert fridge to kegerator for husband xmas gift but not sure if I should buy an forced air tower or an glycol tower, which one will pour the perfect beer everytime. Can anyone help me?

if it is just a simple short run all you need is the forced air save the glycol for the long runs

Default full size fridge?

You should'nt need a tower, the faucet should mount in the door or sides.

I have a chest fridge and just use a forced air tower, works perfectly. After long periods of not pouring one, at first I just let it run for a second or two to get to the freshest beer again. Glycol is nice, but not needed unless you plan on having your tower far away from the fridge.

You want to give your husband a kegorator for Christmas... the fact that no one has asked if you have a sister is mind boggling to me

One thing..if you're gonna go with a forced air tower (excellent call) look long at BOTH a true TDD 1 and a Beverage Air BM 23. Thr true is a superb unit BUT.. it is quite loud; the BM23 is much more quiet. I have to take my true back as it is just too loud...pours the best pint imaginable though.
