Default Lucky Noob with a used kegerator.

Hi there,
Just got a used kegerator and the only hook up is a small threaded plastic female screw top coming from the spout, and a drain line.
What do I need to get this flowing by Turkey day?
Any help is much appreciated.
please and thanx
cheers big ears!

Welcome beerslinger77.
Any chance of you getting a picture of this for us? When you say the spout, do you mean where the beer comes out of the tower into the glass?
Cheers,
Steve

For a fellow Pats Fan...anything!

You need new lines, a coupler, and tank/regulators. By the looks of those lines, cleaning won't help, just get new ones.

MicroMatic sells kits that you can buy to get all of the parts you need. Realistically, I think you only need lines, couplers, clamps, regulators, and a tank. Your tower, faucet and shank should be ok. Tough to tell from the photo.

They (MM) has a video about setting it up, check out beer education.
Cheers,
Steve

I agree with getting a new kit. Likely all you need is some items, but with a new kit, all will be good and all it will take to begin enjoying fresh keg beer is getting the temperature and pressure right and a keg of beer.

depends on the type of beer you plan to pour usually if it is a domestic 38deg@12-14psi make sure you have 5' of 3/16 id line from the coupler to the faucet and your pour rate should be approx 2ozs per second
