    Default Danby compressor turns cools but then turns off after while

    My danby Model #DKC586BL will have the compressor on and cooling but will cut out after a few hours. Could it be the ptc starter? Thanks

    If it starts then the starter is good. could be the compressor overload protection. is the condenser clean?
