Default Basic Newb Question.

I am getting ready to build my 1st kegerator next week. I have been lurking for about a month.

My only question that has not been answered is.. Do I need to clean the lines when I first get it all together?

To get the new taste outta the lines?

Thanks alot for all the help guys.

welcome to the boards shady. anything new that I get, clothing, dishware, linens, etc., I wash first. you probably dont have to, but what could it hurt?

From the land of pleasant living, the Chesapeake bay
and hot steamed crabs!

It always make sense to clean the lines and faucet before using it for the first time even if you only rinse it with water.
Good luck! Built my first Kegerator in 1977 out of an old 'HotPoint' refrigerator. Fit a full 1/2 barrel inside!
