beer won't come out

I am fairly new to the whole home keg thing.......though I love it. Here is my problem. Recently was drawing a glass of beer, and it was flowing fine. Next glass, the tap started blowing air and foam like it was empty.....keg still seems to be half full. I have checked and adjusted the pressure, up and down, and can't seem to fix the problem. Any ideas on what it could be?? I was told that maybe the regulator needed to be bled, but don't know how to do that

If everything was fine then it started blowing empty with half a keg left my initial guess would be that the pickup tube INSIDE the keg is spit half way down. IF this is the case you won't be able to fix it on your own and would need to return the keg to your dealer for replacement.

Although rare, a split valve stem would cause this issue. Over-carbonation would also be a culprit. This is the reason for the information request. Whoever told you to "bleed the regulator" was possible referring to pulling the safety relief valve on the keg coupler. Not advisable.
