Default Fridge Conversion Info Needed

Hello All,

I'm a home brewer with a Cornie keg system and I want to replace my picnic tap with a proper door mounted tap. I already have everything from the CO2 tank on through to the 3/16 vinyl beer line, so basically I need a faucet, handle and shank. There seems to be an endless variety of parts available. I'm gonna go 100% S/S for the faucet and handle, but the shank has me confused. There are various lengths, materials and types (with and without nipple) & bore sizes available. What should I go with? I'm using 3/16 beer line (5 feet) and the thickness of the door I will be drilling through will be 2.5 inches where the faucet will be mounted. Any help offered is appreciated.

Thanks.

Gregoire,
You will need to get this Shank, this Door Spacer and this Faucet Wrench. Don't try to do it without the door spacer or you will crush your insulation in your fridge door. Hope this helps.

Also, do you have plans? The process is pretty easy but a set of plans takes out all the guess work. I would venture a guess that Scott would email you the plans if your buying the parts from MicroMatic.
