Frozen Solid **FIRST POST**

[?]First off this is my first post so I want to say hi to everyone and thank you all in advance for your help.

Last night we tapped our first keg in the kegerator.

After some PSI and beer line length adjustments we were off and running.

The night went great, had some friends over, and had a few great tasting brews. Over all it went better than expected, no kegerator problems.

Until this mourning that is, this problem was kind of anticipated, but I have every confidence you guys will be able to help.

I used an old refrigerator and a conversion kit.
The keg and bottle of Co2 are in the fridge part.
The beer line then runs up through the freezer part and the nozzle comes out the freezer door.

Now my problem, the beer in the line is freezing in the freezer part.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

I have pictures to better explain if any can tell me how to post them on here, or if you want them emailed to you.

mount the shank on the fridge door not the freezer, keep the beer line out of the freezer as well or you will constantly be fighting ice in the line

Shank moved, hole in frezzer patched, good to go.

Or is there a sepperate temperature control for your freezer, just turn it off or way down. It could be a waste but before you go to sleep leave the freezer part open. Depending on the height of the fridge your best bet would to go with Top Gun and rpulido. But if the fridge in real low and putting it on the side would be incovienient, just break the freezer part so it doesnt get cold. That mayy not even be possible but worth a shot
