Default CO2 Help!

I need some help with a CO2 problem. When I attach the regulator to the CO2 tank and then CO2 line to the keg, open the CO2 tank at the main valve and also at the valve on the regulator, it seems that no CO2 is coming out and the guage stays at O. Can anyone help with this? I have no idea what the problem may be!

If you open the main valve with no regulator attached... does gas come out?

Either your tank is empty, your reg. is not functioning, the washer between the tank and the reg. may be crushed and blocking the flow to the reg. or even more simply, have you turned the adjustment screw on the regulator?

Are you sure you don't have a C02 Syphon tank with the dip tube. This would draw liquid C02 and instantly freeze in the orifice between the valve and the regulator.
