Default tapping a party ball

I recently picked up a used once party ball and tap at a garage sale. Would like to use it to take homebrew to partys. Trouble is there seems to be a seal or cap that goes between the pump and ball that I am missing. Anyone have an idea on what this is? I have heard it called a puncture seal, but have not been able to find any info. Thanks for your help. Andy

This is the cap that the brewer would use to seal the package after filling. They have the fill machines that cap the party ball. You could use it as a coin bank!

So they are not reusable. It won't make a very good bowling ball.
