90 degree fpr keg coupler issue.
i bought this 90 degree elbow and a few rubber washers from MM.
http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...pid-FT872.html
http://www.micromatic.com/product.aspx?pid=759
i tried using it today because the 1/2 of yuengling i just got is pretty close to the top of my vissani kegerator.
i put w washer in the part that attaches to the coupler and that fit nice and snug, but the other end (the opening with the threads on the right of the picture) did not fit snug with the beer line connector.
i did a real quick tap anyway to see if it would work and nope..beers shot out.
help!
for now i am just using the regular line without the 90 degree fitting.
mmm yuengling

Did you put a washer in the connection for the beer line? Your post only mentions a washer for the coupler connection.

there was a washer in there already, but the wing nut did not tighten the whole way and the beer line wiggled some.
i did try putting another washer in there, but that didnt work either.

So your wing nut is tight as you can get it but the tailpiece will still wiggle? Perhaps there is a machining/chrome plating issue with your elbow that is causing the wing nut to stop threading before it will seat. I use an elbow on my coupler as well but I have a regular hex nut. Maybe the wing nuts and hex nuts are different so you could try getting a hex nut.

Elbow
he gasket in the wing nut needs to be replaced, it has been mashed in to the threads of the wing nut from over titening.

i used another gasket (actually both at the same time to try and make it tighter), but it still leaked.
...and the original one is fine. i am using it now screwed against the coupler without the elbow
