Default FNG questions...

I am about to buy a kegerator for home use. I am interested in the Sanyo Kegerator BC-1206. I noticed that it is 115v, can this be plugged into a normal 110v outlet and still run effeciently? Also, why are the kegerators [u]with tapping kits included</u> so much cheaper than those without? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Thank you in advance for your help with these questions. Additional advice (any and all) from forum members is also appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Johnny. normal voltage in the US is 110-120 volts on a 15 or 20 amp breaker. I also have a Kenmore kegerator that is made by Sanyo and have had it a year with no problems, i'm sure you will like this unit. I guess the kegerator mftr's are trying to move the appliances with everything included to make buying and setup easier for us beer drinkers lol

The reason that the ones without the tapping kits cost more, is because they are commercial units, which is whole different ball game.
