Default Beer Gas -- How Long Does it Stay Good?

I see that the nitrogen mix for Guinness will not fall out of solution in days, but will the mix go bad in a year or two? I have a beer gas mix that hasn't been used in a long while. I'd hate to ruin a keg of Guinnes because the gas has gone bad... should I swap it or wouldn't it make a difference?

Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by mix not falling out of solution. It is difficult for gas companies to place two gasses into a cylinder consistently for short term use let alone long term. Take the cylinder to a filler who can test the mix. If it is off, get a refill.
