Angry 12oz Paintball tank connection to Avanti Mini Pub?

Hi,
I got for christmas a Avanti Mini Pub.
It cools 5l mini kegs and has a CO2 supply that comes from 16g cartridges.

Unfortunately my inlet for the CO2 leaked and eventually blew the bottom holder off.

Nevertheless in the manual is written that you can use 340g CO2 cartridges that connect directly (without the 16gram holders),

I also read online a Amazon review about someone that managed to connect a 12OZ Paintball tank.

Does anyone in this forum know how to connect a 12OZ paintball tank to the Avanti Mini Pub?

Unhappy Same Problem

The cartridges don't work for me either. They don't sill tightly and they are hard to find. I bought a 12 oz CO2 bottle but the treads don't fit the Aventi valve/gauge. Where can I get the right bottle or an adaptor?

While the threads are the same as a paintball tank (US standard for CO2, CGA 320), the threaded portion of the regulator is not deep enough for a paintball tank's pin valve. You need to purchase an adapter. I purchased this one: Regulator Converter
Also, most typical paintball CO2 tanks will not fit inside the enclosure; they're either too tall or too large. This is the only one I could find that would work, but it's nearly perfect: JT IVT Co2 Tank - 9 oz
It's ~3/16" too short, but too short is easy to fix. Just put something underneath it!
So far it works great, and in the long-run, I'll save so much over using the 16gram CO2 cartridges which I've found to be a pain in the a** to use anyway.
