Mmmm we're going to have to try some more Troegs to replace the elves when they're kicked. I'm more of an amber person, how do the two you have on tap compare?

Here has been my keg progression since Sep 08
1/4 Amber Bock
1/4 Yuengling
1/6 Shock Top
1/4 Yuengling
Then I upgraded my kegerator so it holds the 1/2 barrels and got a keg of Dos Equis Amber. Delicious.

SPATEN LAGER. Munich.
Normally fairly light amber in color, but this new one is rather dark light stout color.
But it's just good ol Spaten. The flavor never changes. I'm thinking its the hops that change the color slightly this keg.
A taste of real Europe.

Just picked up a half barrel of New Belgium 1554 & a sixth of Sam Adams Boston Lager.
Can't wait to tap them tomorrow.

We tapped our second elf 2/22 and untapped it to tap a 1/4 Lord Chesterfield. Since the Yeungling comes in tall 1/4s, they're both residing in the kegerator and waiting for me to do the dual tap mod.

The remnants of an American wheat I didn't kill before heading off to Florida today. When I get home in three weeks, I'll have a keg of APA ready to go.

My local brewery rocks.

First keg tapped in the new system (pix and post mortum to follow) is a 1/6 of Magic Hat HiPA. It's cold, it's carbonated and it's NOT foamy. It's also thanks to this forum and all the knowledge here in. Let the system "stabilize" over night and the very first beer, which was sitting in 20ft of line, poured near perfection.
<sniff> At times I doubted this day would come.

I have a quarter of Michelob Ultra, I guess domestic light beer is like eating at McDonalds, nobody drinks it but they sure sell a lot.

I converted a Haier mini-fridge and immediately went out and bought a 1/6 of my new favorite local brew: Horseheads Brewing's Chemung Canal Towpath Ale. So smooth...there's nothing like it!

Need to make a little space in the garage, and as soon as it comes out (3/30) it will be Bell's Oberon.
Cheers,

Hey, if you enjoy it, then drink up! I used to bag on light beer drinkers, but thankfully I've come down from the beer snob cloud. I was on the craft beer snob band wagon there for a bit. But now I just feel that people should drink what they enjoy. I still drink (mostly) craft brew, but I can't think of a sane reason to insult someone for their beverage choice, regardless of what it is. The brand of beverage in a friend's hand is not nearly as important to me as enjoying a cool one with a friend.

I just tapped a 1/6 of Sam Adams White Ale. I also just purchased a "G" type coupler, so I think that I see some Bass Ale in the not-to-distant future!

Any of you guys live near North Florida. Having trouble finding sixtels and slim 1/4's around here. Anyone have any information for North Florida availability? Thanks for any help!

My Dogfish 90 Minute tapped as soon as I had a big group of people over (of course!).
Ran to the store the next day, and found a 1/6th of Clipper City Loose Cannon. Mmmm ...
I'm thinking some Harp may be next.

Just completed my four-tap chest freezer conversion, and picked up a sixtel of Lancaster Milk Stout last Friday. Yummy!
Now I just have to fill up the other three taps.

Right now, just regular old Bud, I just finally hooked up the kegerator again, so I need to make sure I had everything working good. Today I'm stoping by the Global Beverage Warehouse, and seeing if they can get me a list of every possible keg/beer that is available, then, the taste testing begins!!!!
