I am running a sixtel of Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Will probably die this week or next. Depending on the timing, I'll either get a sixtel of GL Blackout Stout (if it's out soon) or go back to another 1/2 barrel of Two Hearted.

How is the Singlewide compared to some other IPAs?

Just ran out of homebrewed "OldCastle" nut brown ale and had to put a sixtel of Amber Bock on to make it through the night. Too used to homebrew... Macro brew is weak!

Cubby and Slim,

I like the Singlewide. At first glance you might think it is the wheat. It is lighter in color than both the Doublewide and the Pale Ale with a haze. It has a stong note of grapefruit and maybe a hint of clove but a nice crisp finish. It is no Bell's Two Hearted or Dale's Pale and I think I prefer the Doublewide but this is a good drinkable beer and a nice change from the Boulevard Pale so I have enjoyed having it on tap at home.

A sixtel of Siglewide only cost $4 more than the Pale does. The Siglewide has 55 IBUs, Boulevard Pale Ale 59 IBUs and Dales Pale Ale 65 IBUs for comparison.

Hopefully you can find some on tap in your area for a taste!

Hope this was a bit helpful.

Finished up some Thirsty Dog Siberian Night RIS last week followed by a 1/6 barrel of Brooklyn Winter Ale for a party I had last week. The guests promptly cleaned me out of it

Set to tap a 1/6 of Flying Dog Old Scratch tonight for the UFC fights.

just switched back to a 1/2 barrel of Bell's Two Hearted. I am now firmly convinced it is my favorite beer.

Side note, I think this will be my last keg with the Danby. I think I am going to sell it after this and build chest freezer model with 2 taps.

Last night we FINALLY tapped the sixtal of Mad Elf. Yeah, it's a little "late" in the year, but a mad elf is better than a cupid for valentine's day!

Shipyard Brewmaster's Choice Brown Ale -- a nice dark brown ale that hits the spot.

Shipyard Pumpkinhead -- Something a little sweet that brings memories of my favorite time of year.....Fall.

Miller Lite since it's what most of our friends/family drink. It is the first keg in the kegerator but I am hoping to get a Stella in there if I can find it!
