CO2 regulator and tank with Mixed Gas?
Is there any reason why I can't or shouldn't use my current CO2 regulator and tank for Guiness gas? Will the gauge reflect the accurate pressure to the keg?
thanks

Use this adapter for a cylinder of 25% CO2 / 75% Nitrogen. Regulator will perform the same. Pressure should be adjusted to approx. 30 PSIG.

What I have is a CO2 tank with a CO2 regulator. Isn't the adapter for a CO2 regulator with a nitrogen tank? Or maybe I don't quite understand. The reason I ask is my local gas guy said it would be no problem to fill my CO2 tank with mixed gas and use the same CO2 regulator. I just wanted to get a second opinion. I've also read that the gases will seperate and will need to be reblended every couple of days via "rolling the tank". Is this true? If so, Guinness may be too much of a pain for me. Thanks. Mike

As long as the local gas supplier can offer an accurate blend, go for it. The regulator and cylinder does not care.

And any truth to the rumor that the gases separate and need to be reblended every couple of days via rolling the tank? I'm assuming this is untrue or I would have heard more of this happening. Thanks for the info!

Rumor. Although you would be surprised as to the inaccuracy of the blends from the gas company.
