It looks like I'm gonna settle on a Sanyo 1206 Kegerator.
My question is related to aquiring new equipment. The model looks like it comes with a Chome Tower and Faucet. I am also gonna get a Stout Faucet and U-System Coupler (can you guess what brand is going in first?)
Should I buy a Chrome Stout Faucet or SS Stout Faucet? I imagine the faucet metal would look abit different. If so, then why not just get a SS Tower too? Does the chrome stick more than the chrome?
Also, as far as U-couplers go, do they really make that much of a difference? I was contemplating a g408 or the ch5300? The g408 has the nice ergomatic handle. And while I'm at it, should I upgrade the D-Coupler as well (not sure what comees with the Sanyo?
I have no idea what quality these things are and if they're really worth it.
Absolutely, go with stainless! Plated brass does not hold up over time. Also, stainless impedes growth thus easier to clean and is friendlier to the product. Check out these couplers with stainless probes for stout and the "D" system.
