    Default 2nd tap location

I recently moved my home keg setup from kitchen to basement. I want to be able to dispense fromt the same keg both at the door of my converted fridge, and 22ft away in my newly remodeled kitchen w/ countertop tower. The door tap is pretty simple, but i wanted to get some input about the options for getting the beer to the kitchen. The only option I have come up with is the use of a beer pump. While 22ft is not that far, I have had to really mess w/ co2 settings to get beer that far. I was thinking of a manifold w/ two secondary regulators (one to keg, other to pump) from co2 tank. Pump says it does not effect carbonation levels of beer. Is there any effect on tempertature using apump? Cant afford the glycol sytem (baby on the way), but have figured i can do this for about $250. Thanks

The beer pump is not a solution for what you are attempting. The application for these pumps are for situations where you can no longer use a gas blend - very long systems with substantial vertical lift (40+ PSIG to the keg).

Adhere to Divinity Draft's suggestions although you will have a very difficult task of maintaining temperature to the keg.

This has been tried many time by many people. Usually doesnt work that well.Easier to just go fill up a pitcher and bring it back.
